This work analyzes the problem of low female representation in the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, highlighting the limitations that the “glass ceiling” imposes on gender equality in the highest Argentine court. From a critical approach, the impact of the wording of Decree 222/2003 and its effectiveness in promoting a diverse composition in the selection process of judges is examined, evidencing how its ambiguous provisions limit the possibility of achieving equal integration. The persistence of structural biases affects legitimacy and diversity in the judicial system. Likewise, the demands of women’s organizations and the impact of balanced integration in strengthening justice and its relationship with society are discussed. In summary, the need to adopt effective public policies that guarantee plural and equitable gender representation in the Supreme Court is emphasized, reinforcing its legitimacy and the value of inclusive justice.

In the study of International Relations, the principle of sovereign equality of all States is transcendental, which is widely accepted by international society and is constantly promoted by the United Nations. However, over time, there have been several situations in which the exercise of sovereignty of certain countries is impaired due to the influence of foreign actors in their internal affairs. Based on this situation, and considering the Russian-Ukrainian war that has been taking place since February 2022, this research studies the case of Ukraine, specifically the development of its foreign policy in the field of security, in order to analyze whether the execution of it was influenced in any way, not by a particular State, but by the very structure of the international system.

The employment contract brings together people and resources in the same environment, whose interaction can lead to potentially harmful situations for workers. This article will analyze the preventive action of damages, the civil legislation that establishes it, its historical origin and its evolution. Next, the regulations that establish the duty of prevention of damages in labor legislation will be examined, reviewing their regulatory evolution up to the current text. A brief approximation will be made to the normative tools in the Labor Contract Law and in the Civil and Commercial Code. The criteria for the application of civil law in the workplace and practical aspects of the defense of rights, together with the examination of legitimacy, by evaluating the active legitimacy of union entities in the matter will be addressed by contemplating specific aspects of protection and areas of possible application, as well as jurisprudence and criteria on the subject matter.

The right to a healthy environment is fundamental to guarantee sustainability and human development. Recognized in the Argentine National Constitution since 1994, it promotes a balance between economic progress, environmental protection and social well-being. Its preservation is directly linked to sustainability. That is why environmental education plays a crucial role in this process, fostering citizen awareness about the importance of the environment and promoting responsible actions. At the same time, prevention is key to avoiding significant damage through the application of certain tools, allowing risks to be identified and mitigated before they occur.

In Argentina, there are various laws that promote sustainable development by establishing a model that prioritizes the balance between human interests and the protection of nature, essential to guarantee a viable future for both people and the planet.

Foundations of the Prohibition of the Import, Transportation and Trade of Coca Leaves and its Current Relationship with the Non-punishable Practice of Coca Consumption in the northwest of Argentina

The purpose of this work is to expose the inconsistencies of the Argentine legal system regarding the coca leaf, a problem that recognizes import, transportation, marketing and consumption actions as aspects of necessary examination. For that purpose, a structure will be developed that allows identifying the contradiction noticed (through introductory considerations), reviewing the evolution of the historical and regulatory context (from precolonial periods to the present), identifying the jurisprudential progression around the topic raised (through the commentary on failures) and, from the perspective of possible solutions (some existing, others presented here), state conclusions that represent a paradigm for the future.
