Overview of the Scientific Journals Portal - UCASAL


The academic journals portal of Universidad Católica de Salta comprises the scientific journals issued by the different faculties and university schools and serves as a platform for the visibility and dissemination of scientific research, both institutional and external. The main objective consists of promoting the exchange of knowledge among researchers and study centers, contributing to the development of academic research.
EUCASA (Ediciones Universidad Católica de Salta) fosters the constant improvement of the journals included in the portal, operated on the Open Journal Systems platform. Within this framework, efforts are undertaken in order to strengthen the editorial quality, to optimize the processes of digital publishing, and to increase the visibility of the publications, in accordance with the main quality standards established for scientific journals on a regional and international basis.
Each journal provides updated information on its website about its evaluations, indexing processes, and records in databases, ensuring public and open access to these indicators and contributing to the open-access dissemination of scientific knowledge.

  • Foro de Teología y Filosofía

    Foro de Teología y Filosofía (ISSN 3125-2508) is the academic journal of the University School of Theology and Philosophy at the Universidad Católica de Salta (Argentina). It was created in 2025, and it is published annually under the imprint of EUCASA (Ediciones Universidad Católica de Salta). The journal brings together contributions on topics and issues of philosophical and theological interest, including scientific articles, essays, book reviews, and profiles, all of which are subject to external peer-review. The journal provides a space where theological and philosophical thought can engage in dialogue in a spirit of freedom, academic rigor, and interdisciplinary openness. 

  • Cuadernos Universitarios

    Cuadernos universitarios is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Education at the Universidad Católica de Salta (Argentina). It was created in 2008, and it is published by EUCASA (Ediciones Universidad Católica de Salta). It is an annual publication that disseminates scientific articles and original essays focused on the study of higher education. All contributions are original, previously unpublished, and subject to external peer-review. The journal promotes a multidisciplinary approach focused on the analysis and critical reflection on higher education in regional and national contexts, in line with international academic debates. The journal is published as open access under a Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike license.

  • Cuadernos de Ingeniería

    Cuadernos de Ingeniería is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Engineering at the Universidad Católica de Salta (Argentina). It was created in 2006, and it is published by EUCASA (Ediciones Universidad Católica de Salta). This publication comprises scientific articles, technological developments, reviews, essays, and book reviews related to various fields of engineering. All works are original and previously unpublished, and subject to external peer-review.     Omnia. Derecho y sociedad is the scientific journal of the Faculty of Law at Universidad Católica de Salta (Argentina). It was created in 2018, and it is published by EUCASA (Ediciones Universidad Católica de Salta). It is a biannual publication that comprises scientific articles, essays, analyses of case law and legal doctrine, and book reviews pertaining to the legal, political, and social sciences. All contributions are original, previously unpublished, and subject to external peer-review. The journal aims to promote the dissemination of legal knowledge and strengthen academic exchange on a national and international scale.     Teks del Sud is the scientific journal of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Universidad Católica de Salta (Argentina). It was created in 2019, and it is published by EUCASA (Ediciones Universidad Católica de Salta). It is a biannual publication that comprises scientific articles, essays, outreach articles, case studies, and book reviews, which are subject to external peer-review. The journal fosters academic debate on issues related to design, the environment, habitat, urban planning, landscape, and history, with a particular focus on the South American context.

    Intersticios is the scientific journal of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the Universidad Católica de Salta (Argentina). It was created in 2020, and it is published by EUCASA (Ediciones Universidad Católica de Salta). The journal publishes original, previously unpublished works in the fields of the social sciences and the humanities, which are evaluated through an external peer-review process.
