Abstract

This investigation was done in hospitals of Salta City to know the level of job stress in doctors which work with patients, and to determinate the most frequents symptoms, in order to inform to the management for it takes of decisions on the matter. The conclusion is that most of the doctors investigated have stress, situated in the adaptation stage, with the symptoms of muscular pains, fatigue, lack of pleasing in the life, bad mood, overload of preoccupations, tension, headaches, alteration in sleeping, irritability, anguish, mental exhaustion, anxiety, alteration of the memory, unwillingness, devaluation of personal successes, feeling of dissatisfaction, and lack of concentration.

Licenciado en Psicología (UCASAL), Doctorando en Psicología (UNT), Especialista en Psicología Clínica y Psicología Social (CPPS), Investigador de la UCASAL, Profesor de las cátedras ‘Psicología Social’, ‘Metodología de la Investigación Psicológica’ y ‘Diseño y Construcción de Tesis’ en la carrera de Psicología Facultad de Artes y Ciencias de la UCASAL, Psicólogo del Primer Nivel de Atención del Ministerio de Salud Pública de Salta.
