Abstract

Child labor is a reality that has been growing throughout history, especially since the Industrial Revolution. It is present in every country, regardless of its level of development, economic model or ruler’s ideology.

It is vital to know which are the challenges addressed by the State as the main responsible for providing answers to the needs of children in vulnerable situations. This publication not only makes reference to the progress in the elimination of various forms of child labor but also provides some consideration on how this reality is confronted by society and the State.
