About the journal

Teks del Sud is a scientific journal of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Catholic University of Salta, Argentina, created in 2019 and published under EUCASA Press (Ediciones Universidad Católica de Salta). It is an annual publication, which contains articles and scientific essays, disclosure notes, bibliographic reviews, case studies and academic experiences organized thematically. The works are unpublished and original, and are subjected to an evaluation process by external peers.

The name of the magazine responds to the meanings Teks (from Indo-European teks- "to knit, build") and Sud (from the south), integrating those expressions that look at architecture as networks that enable habitat and human coexistence in its different scales and themes.

Teks del Sud provides a platform for discussion, reflection and exploration to the university community, taking as a starting point the intellectual and material production of teachers and researchers in the field of project, object and technological design, the environment, habitat, urban planning, development, landscape and history; with particular emphasis on the South American context.

The magazine receives articles in Spanish and publishes versions of them in the author's original language. For more information on calls and language guidelines, go to the Sections and Contributions Policy section on this page.
