Abstract

Juan Carlos de Pablo is an Argentine economist, trained in both national and international institutions, member of the National Academy of Economic Sciences and author of various works in which he addresses different aspects of the economic field. The work reviewed here has a total of twelve chapters in which it addresses the biography of two renowned economists in Argentine history, Raúl Prebisch (1901‑1986) and Federico Pinedo (1895‑1971), as well as its passage and action through different sectors of the State, management and policy formulation spaces. The author describes both as “intelligent, committed, industrious, courageous and argumentative.” He also mentions that he cites the actions of both economists because their legacy is still in force.
